Project Description
Jasper is a 13-story residential building located at 2-33 50th Avenue in the Hunters Point neighborhood of Long Island City, Queens. Developed through a collaboration among The Domain Companies, LMXD, Bridge Investment Group, and The Vorea Group, and designed by S9 Architecture, this 125-foot-tall building encompasses approximately 550,000 square feet. Jasper offers 499 residential units ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments, including 150 units designated as affordable housing, supporting diverse community needs.
The building features a mixed-use design with 40,000 square feet of retail space, a 503-square-foot community facility developed under the Brownfield Award program, and 111 enclosed parking spaces. Situated between 49th and 50th Avenues and 5th Street, Jasper replaces a former two-story warehouse and represents a $370 million investment in the area’s residential and commercial growth. The project’s completion contributes to the ongoing revitalization of Hunters Point, providing quality housing options and community amenities to support the evolving needs of Long Island City.
